New Web Tool Makes It Easier to Find CFIA Permits, Licenses and Approval Information
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) is making it easier for individuals and businesses to find information on permits, licences and approvals through a new web tool: the Permissions Finder. This tool helps businesses and individuals find the information they need when conducting import, export or domestic activity with food, plants or animals in Canada.
Not sure where to start? Answer a few guided questions and the tool will give you tailored information that’s relevant to your commodities and activities, including information about:
- permits
- licences
- approvals
- programs
- requirements
Find the new tool at www.inspection.canada.ca/permits
For information on applications for domestic and import-related permissions, which include licences, permits, ministerial exemptions, permissions to move, and test market authorizations, contact the Centre of Administration, at 1-800-442-2342 or permission@inspection.gc.ca.
